IELTS Speaking Part 1 includes a 4-5 minute discussion, face-to-face, held on a separate day with the examiner. There will be a total of 12 questions based on 3 topics. Question types include talking about yourself, life, work, hobbies etc.
Speaking part 2 is called: “The Talk” A face-to-face talk to the examiner (3-4 minutes). You will be given a topic card. You will have 1 minute to prepare your talk, and then to speak for 1-2 minutes.
IELTS Speaking - Part 3 includes a two-way discussion based on the questions and your responses from Part 2. There will be 5-7 questions approximately. Duration: 4 - 6 minutes.
This task type tests a wide range of reading skills including detailed understanding of specific points or an overall understanding of the main points of the text.
